NACE Membership Reaches an All-time High

by Ginia Lucas

April was an exciting month for NACE! Worldwide we now have over 4000 members, and with the spring membership campaign getting under way, NACE hopes to top that even sooner. Fall's membership drive yielded 321 new members, and with a little determination and all of us pulling together to tell others in our fields about the educational and networking benefits of NACE, we hope to bring in over 350 new members this spring.

Through May 23rd, the regular dues rate of $395 has been decreased by $100! So this is the time to sign up or tell your friends to join so that we can celebrate NACE's 50th Anniversary with a bang!

Meeting Notes

GET MORE BUSINESS NOW!
April at the Historic McCullough-Price House in Chandler
April's meeting was held at the Historic McCullough-Price House in Chandler. Personal Chef Catering designed an interactive Mexican buffet to offset the traditional adobe style house and Y-Knot Party & Rentals added a bit of Mexican flair with Fiesta colored linens and Margarita glass centerpieces.
Our speaker for the evening was Loretta Love Huff. People in many businesses get the best results from active, time-dependent marketing strategies such as outreach, networking and referral-building.  Loretta spoke on how to assess the effectiveness of your current strategies and refine your approach to gaining new clients in this hands-on, interactive workshop.
Some of the subjects covered were:
·     1.Which marketing strategies are most effective for service professionals - and why - so you can stop wasting your time and money
·     2.Exactly where you are stuck in the marketing process so you concentrate on marketing strategies & tactics that will work best for your situation
·     3.How to reduce your anxiety about marketing so you quit procrastinating and start making more money!
